‘Could Your Dog Be Annie’s Sandy?’
BOS Musical Theatre Company is bringing the much-loved musical Annie to the stage May 2027 — and we’ve got a very special role to cast. That’s right, we’re looking for our very own Sandy!
What Are We Looking For:
Sandy may not have any lines to sing, but this is a starring role that takes real stage presence! We’re searching for a dog who is:
Calm and well-behaved
Preferably medium sized
Great with children (just like Annie herself)
Comfortable in a crowd and happy to be on stage.
Preferably mixed breed
Beige colouring
Medium to long hair
And of course, we’ll need the chosen pup’s human to stay with them during rehearsals and performances to help them shine.
Why Sandy Matters
In Annie, Sandy isn’t just a pet — he’s a symbol of hope, loyalty, and unconditional love. When Annie rescues Sandy, she finds a best friend to walk beside her as she dreams of a brighter “Tomorrow.” Whoever takes on this role will help us bring that heartwarming bond to life on stage.
Could Your Dog Be a Star?
If your dog has that “Tomorrow” sparkle, then we want to meet them! This is a fantastic chance to see your furry friend take to the spotlight in one a beloved musical.
We can’t wait to meet our hopeful Sandy — tails-wagging, paws ready, and hearts full of theatre magic.
BOS Musical Theatre Company present… Annie from Saturday 22nd to Saturday 29th May 2027 for 8 performances.
